How do I enable two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of security to your account. Every time you log in you’ll have to enter a unique code obtained from an authenticator app. You must enter this code, in addition to your password, to access your account.

Authenticator apps, such as Google Authenticator and Authy, are available for free from the App Store and Google Play.

Remember to disable two-factor authentication before switching to a new mobile device. If you lose access to your authenticator app, use your recovery code to disable two-factor authentication.

Enable two-factor authentication

To enable 2FA, navigate to the account page and click on Enable two-factor authentication. You’ll see a QR code that you’ll need to scan with your authenticator app. Your authenticator app will then generate a 6-digit code. You’ll need to input and confirm this code on the account page to activate 2FA.

Once you activate 2FA, you’ll be given a recovery code. Make sure to write it down and keep it in a safe place.

Disable two-factor authentication

To disable 2FA, navigate to the account page and click on Disable two-factor authentication.
